Avon Battalion

Who Are We?

At the moment the Avon Battalion Stedfast Association does not exist.

We are trying to launch a new association in September 2009 to support the work of the Boys' Brigade in Avon.

What Will it Do?

This will depend on the membership.

Initially the association is being run by Officers active within the Battalion and active within companies. We hope that in a fairly short space of time the association will be able to take itself over and manage itself. What the association does will then be it's own decision.

We hope that the Avon Stedfast Association will follow the lead of other associations and run regular social events for members. Other associations run Bands, Parade Services and Holidays. We also hope that the Association will support the Boys' Brigade in Avon by attending some of the Boys events and through other activities.

How much does it cost?

The first years membership is free. Subsequent membership fees will be set by the organising committee.

Additional charges will be made for participation in social events.
